The Alley House
Blending tradition and modernity in compact living spaces
Architect & Presentation: Shahab Shariat Bahadori

Residential living is a topic of great importance that should not be overlooked. It involves various aspects such as moving, interacting with neighbors and locals and creating distinct spaces for different purposes, all tailored to meet the needs and lifestyle preferences of individuals. When we look at older housing constructions, we can observe that they were not as densely packed as what we see today; there was always a sense of openness in their design. Additionally, these structures embraced the idea of introversion while also providing opportunities to connect with nature. The plan also highlights the importance of incorporating public spaces within the busy fabric of Tehran’s old neighborhoods where people can take a break, observe their surroundings, occasionally socialize and engage with one another.
Concept
Separating spaces and emphasizing their roles. In essence, it's like encapsulating all life's functions in today's world within an apartment. My apologies for the confusion. From your explanation, it appears you aim to design a space that aligns with the evolving idea of apartments and living within them, prioritizing the fulfillment of life's necessities and human behaviors to a higher degree.
